Kristin Grants Kristin one time grants are disbursed once per organization per year. Each grant is worth a maximum of $1000, but the amount awarded will be determined by the grant selection committee. Organizations may apply for as many different types of grants as suit their needs, but each organization will only be granted one grant per year. Kendrick Grants Kendrick recurring grants are disbursed in $200 increments each quarter. Grantee organizations that apply before the first deadline are eligible for four payments of $200, or up to $800 in grant funds for the year. Grantee organizations that receive a grant after the second deadline are eligible to receive three payments of $200, or up to $600 for the year. Organizations that apply by the third deadline are eligible for two payments of $200, or $400 for the year. Organizations that apply by the final deadline are only eligible for one payment of $200. Organizations may apply for as many different types of grants as suit their needs, but each organization will only be granted one grant per year. Philip Grants Philip matching grants match up to $1000 worth of goods raised by an organization for a cause. “Goods” may include volunteer hours donated for a specific event, goods donated for an event (such as auction items) or funds. Organizations may apply for as many different types of grants as suit their needs, but each organization will only be granted one grant per year. Volunteer hours are valued at $5 per volunteer per hour. Service may be documented by the volunteers themselves or by a supervisor employed by the grantee organization; however, all documentation must be submitted with a letter of confirmation from a volunteer supervisor no later than one week after the event date. Pledges for funds, donations, and volunteer hours are accepted as part of matching goods generated. Donated goods such as auction items and donated services for a fee (such as catering) may be accounted for matching grant purposes. Funds raised through pledge drives or other fundraising efforts are accepted as matching goods. However, the Kristin-Kendrick Foundation does not recognize initial investment costs for fundraising sales programs as goods for purposes of the matching grant program. An organization may choose one option or a combination of the options listed above as goods for the matching grant. See an example of matching grant calculation for more detail.
